Sound:
Signal Path equals musical evolution in its most progressive sense. The roots of the project lie deep in the ground of the improvisational jazz of the 50s and 60s. The inspiration of these "timeless" musicians planted the seed for the high-energy force that Signal Path has grown to today. Elements of jazz are combined with colors from the entire electronic spectrum to create a sonic palette that is always fresh and always flowing. The influences of the musicians simmer down into a melting pot with flavors of hip-hop, dancehall, free-form jazz, dark drum and bass and up-tempo house being sampled and compiled into the recipe of Signal Path's electronic sound.
Show:
An evening with Signal Path takes the listener through an ocean of cresting soundwaves that build and release, exciting and soothing the aural stimuli. The direction of the music can turn on a dime or gradually build the entire night reaching a frenzied crescendo. The infectious energy of the band and the visual luminescense of the light show illuminate venues night after night. The only other constant is an unconscious connection between the musicans, their instruments and the audience.
