Year formed:
1977

Nick Rosenthal
Location:
Brooklyn, NY
Releases:
None yet. Mainly working for video houses to compliment their work.
Sound:
I've always tried to be somewhat of a chameleon...never want to get a job that could stump me. I've written for studio orchestras, string quartets, vocal groups, rock, pop, electronica, hip hop, jazz combo, etc. etc. etc. Done some remixes too for the video maniacs. I guess my strong point is the electronic stuff, mainly because it's the most feasible with my set-up.
Show:
N/A-I was in a hippy band called Kernal Wah in the late 90's playing lead. Didn't play out for about 5 years, and then when I moved to Brooklyn, I started playing bass with a pick for this band Novaclutch (www.novaclutch.net). I also started a production house with these guys, and we're only a couple months old...starting an LLC is NO FUN, but we're getting the start-up kinks out, and I'm ready to start hustlin the NYC music industry with a bad plaid blazer, a sweat rag for nerves, and my (newly) duct-taped glasses. Check Novaclutch for a description of our sound.
Equipment:
PowerMac G4, Digi002. Akai MPC 1000, Korg X5D, Software, couple guitars (Gibson Custom SG circa 74', Joe Pass Epiphone hollow body) and a bass (total piece of shit....the Novaclutch guys got a nice 5-string I use)
