1000 Vertical Feet's music is a blend of various electronic styles (techno, drum and bass, IDM, jungle) with a post-indie rock approach. "We're human beings playing real instruments, but we're trying to sound like machines. When DJ's perform live they can change the direction of the music instantly because it's one person with one mind. We want four (or five) people to think as one mind in the same way.
